The Saracens Head Hotel is the perfect venue for your next meeting or function. By offering a personal style and elegance, this recently restored business is situated in a 15th Century Grade II listed building in the historical market town of Great Dunmow. Being conveniently next to Stansted, it boasts an ideal location for corporate events and with the dramatic, beautiful surroundings of English countryside, it creates the ideal setting for any social occasion.

We can cater for any style of function including Meetings, Conferences, Exhibitions, Gala's, Wakes, Weddings, Birthdays, Engagements, Baby Showers, Hens Parties, Kids Parties & more!*

We have three rooms available:

Saracens Room

The Saracens Room is in a private area of the Hotel, located on the first floor. This is the largest of our rooms and also has a private bar available for hire. This room hosts a great setting for a large meeting, conference or can transform into a party room for any social occasion.

Flitch Room

The Flitch Room is opposite, also located on the first floor. This beautiful room, named after the traditional Dunmow Flitch Trials, has a view looking out to the High Street. This room is ideal for more intimate meetings and parties of a smaller size.

Private Dining Room

Our Private Dining Room is tucked away from our Restaurant for parties up to 12 people. This creates a less formal ambience for day meetings and social occasions at all times. It is currently in the design process of being renovated with a closing curtain and speakers to be added to the room.

All rooms include free wifi and the Hotel has its own parking lot.
